This is possible because the idea of giving more or enhanced value to customers who have bought from you in the past is the real key behind back-end marketing, not so much what kind of product is being offered. Virtually any kind of product you can offer can be included in your back-end .

Of course, you must be able to determine what your past customers would want in future product offers in order for them to purchase your new offer. A subject related to the first product offer is often a good bet.

The key to making from back-end marketing is to continue to promote quality products that sell for a higher price. For instance, you may start off with an ebook that costs $39, then sell them a related software product for $79, then sell them a physical product (such as a package including a book and DVDs) on a similar subject (like Internet marketing, dog care, etc.) for $147, etc.

The key behind this strategy is to present offers that are higher in price after you have shown them you offer quality lower-priced products – this way, they’ll be more willing to purchase your future higher-priced offers.
